Viscom 2007 is resounding success for Roland DG
Roland DG Benelux The Viscom fair in Düsseldorf, Germany again proved to be a huge success for Roland DG Benelux. 8900 visitors dropped by the newly designed Roland booth, which showcased the biggest part of the Roland DG product range and several new products: the AJ-740 and the XJ-640 printer.
Every two years, the Roland DG booth at the international fair for visual communication (Viscom) attracts countless specialist visitors from all over the world. During the 2007 edition, Roland extended its Advanced Jet Series with the AJ-740 printer, which is designed for volume printing. A lot of visitors recognized its remarkable quality on the front lit banner material. The most popular new product for the general printing sign market, however, was the six-color LFP XJ-640. This PROIII large format printer was welcomed enthusiastically. At a price of 19.900 euros, the XJ-640 delivers remarkable quality and speed. With his new ′IPC′ (Intelligent Pass Control) system, the XJ produces unmatched quality prints and high density outputs. As from December, we also deliver the new XJ-740 printer, the wider variant of the XJ-640.
Next to the newly released products, the VersaCAMM series with the entry-level SP-300, the VP-300 and the bigger VP-54, could count on the interest of a lot of customers. These products demonstrated Roland′s position as the only manufacturer of integrated print & cut machines that cater to cost-efficient graphic production. Roland′s printers and cutting plotters can also generate and read crop marks, which is a benefit for flawless contour-cutting applications. The efficiency and versatility of our multi-function devices are simply unique. Just imagine the convenience of starting a job before going home or out for lunch and finding it ready by the time you return.
The new "Roland R-Wear" solution also proved to be a real showstopper. This system is designed for the production of small-run T-shirts, jeans and other fashion items. Thanks to Roland DG′s revolutionary solution, the combination of printed designs with rhinestones is now even profitable for personalized or limited-quantity orders.
