Innovative market leader
Roland DG was a pioneer in the development of large format printers with a cutting function. Today, thanks to our constant stream of innovations, we are still the market leader in the outdoor printing segment. In addition to a large selection of printers and cutters, we also have an extensive range of engraving machines and modelling (milling) machines. These machines are used in diverse markets including the dental sector. To be precise, we developed machines specifically for the creation of dental prosthetics. Recently, we also launched our first 3D printer for the creation of prototypes.
Roland DG Benelux
Roland DG Benelux was established in 1985 in Oevel (Belgium). Originally it was part of the music division of Roland, but it is now an independent enterprise. Roland DG Benelux is responsible for the distribution of Roland DG products in the Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France.
The company has grown quickly since its inception and has developed an extensive dealer network enabling it to provide optimal service to its customers. To be able to aid the German market more efficiently, Roland DG Deutschland GmbH was established in Willich, close to Düsseldorf. So it goes without saying that at Roland DG Benelux, service, quality and reliability are standards that are printed in bold type.
Moreover, it is a top priority for Roland DG that its customers are well supported. It is for that reason that we offer an extensive training programme via the Roland DG Academy.
Roland DG Corporation has branches and partners throughout the world. There are Roland branches in Belgium, the US, Australia, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Brazil, and they are each responsible for the sales, distribution and after-sales service within a specific geographical region.

The Roland legend
Ikutaro Kakehashi, Roland founder, started out in timepieces. The success of his watch repair business led Kakehashi to explore electronics. He was running an electrical appliance business in the 1950s when the thrill of hearing an early electronic organ at church began a lifetime journey that would result in a revolution not only in music, but the graphic arts and product design. When he was 28, he decided that making musical instruments would become his life’s work.
The slogan ‘Transforming your imagination into reality' is a nice summary of Roland DG's goals. Every day, we are working on the development of solutions that deliver added value; digital techniques that facilitate the life and work of our end customers. That is our constant challenge.
Be creative, be the best and be enthusiastic. The motto of Roland DG Corporation's founder brings us seamlessly to our company philosophy. Since the early years, we are constantly searching for faster, easier and better production processes. That way, we want to create a digital production environment that on the one hand welcomes changes in the society and on the other hand drives them. With great enthusiasm and creativity, we strive to be the best in each domain.
